Liberis to offer customers new insight into their businesses

Last year, Liberis conducted a survey asking over 300 SMEs about the challenges and necessary priorities they saw ahead of them for 2017. Here we found that 58% of British SMEs said they would be prioritising cutting expenses in the new year in response to uncertainty surrounding Brexit and the US election result.

Our results also stated that 86% of SMEs were concerned about future competition, 28% sought a healthier work-life balance and 17% wanted to reduce wasted time and start planning more.

The findings of the survey – which polled businesses across a range of sectors including retail, hospitality, and motoring – coincide with the launch of Handle, the latest benefit Liberis are offering to our customers. Handle is a pioneering new business credit score provider that combines the digital profile of small business with their credit and finance information in one simple online dashboard. Identifying and providing ways for business owners to act and improve these scores makes Handle perfect for Liberis customers.

Rob Straathof, Chief Executive Officer at Liberis, said: “at Liberis we’re committed to doing everything we can to help our customers’ businesses grow. The hassle of admin can be a massive barrier to growth for small firms; keeping all their information in one place at their fingertips means they can focus on growing their business.”

As well as providing performance scores here, Handle also enables small businesses to compare their performance against similar companies, and access reports on which areas of their online presence may need improvement. This means that owners can use their time and effort where it will have the most beneficial impact for their business; whether that’s increasing sales, negotiating better commercial deals, or improving their marketing strategy.

Olly Betts, CEO at Handle, said: “as the first and only company to provide small businesses with all the information they need at the touch of a button, we’re excited about working with SMEs and entrepreneurs to cut the hassle and free up space to enable them to continue to grow.”

Although typically charged at £99 per year, Handle will now be offered to all Liberis customers entirely free of charge.
