Liberis Sponsors Hack24 2017 15/02/2017 News Liberis is delighted to announce that, in collaboration with our Nottingham workspace at Accelerate Places, we will be sponsoring Hack24 2017! Hosted by Tech Nottingham, Hack24 is a free 24-hour coding competition taking place from the 18th to 19th March 2017, in the iconic but drearily named Nottingham Council House. As it has done for the previous two years, the competition will welcome fifty teams of up to four people to compete in a series of technology based challenges. The teams may plan and generate ideas before the competition but, to stay in the running for the prizes, all parts of their hack entry must be created within the 24 hours. And this year, Liberis will be both setting and judging a challenge of our own! It is an opportunity that comes from working in conjunction with Accelerate Places Nottingham; already home to several agile tech businesses, some of which will be sponsoring the event alongside us. These sponsors include two sister companies from the Blenheim Chalcot group; Oakbrook Finance and Bizfitech, the latter are fresh from launching a new business monitoring service named Handle, which we have recently made free for Liberis customers. The first release of tickets has sold out but the second release go on sale on Friday 3rd March, be sure to get yours if you want to attend! Mark Sanders, CEO at Accelerate Places, said: “We’re thrilled to join with some of the really exciting businesses based in Accelerate Places to sponsor Hack24 this year. The innovation, enthusiasm and community spirit that comes with this event are values we fully subscribe to.” We wish all the hackers the best of luck for the competition ahead, and look forward to seeing what pioneering creations they come up with!
